EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Emotional
intelligence is the ability to manage, understand and use your own emotions and
feelings in a positive way to reduce your depression, anxiety and reduces your conflicts,
overcome challenges and communicate effectively.
1.
REFLECT ON YOUR EMOTIONS
This is where
your own self-awareness begins to improve and strengthen and how you react in
negative situation and how you can control in difficult situations.
2.
PAUSE FOR A MOMENT
Pause yourself stop and
think about before you act or speak what you are saying and how you are dealing
with others your behaviors. I know it is hard to do in first but you have to
keep on working hard and improve yourself until and unless it becomes your
habit and you are doing in your daily life.
3.
ASK FOR PERSPECTIVE
Start taking opinion from others but how you respond in tough situations because another person can understand you more than your own self and how you come across emotionally charged or in difficult situations.
4.
UNDERSTAND THE “WHY”
Keep this in
mind to try and understand other person’s emotions and feelings. This will give
you compassion, perspective, and understanding of others' feelings and emotions.
5.
LEARN FROM CRITICISM
Always learn
from criticism if in a positive way. When we choose to learn from criticism rather
than simply defending our own behaviors we can grow our emotional intelligence.
6.
PRACTICE
Practice will
make you perfect. becoming more emotionally stable and intelligent won’t happen
overnight will takes time and effort on daily basis but it can happen with continuous
efforts, patience, and a lot of practice consistently.
